1st Time Students
-First time beginner on this instrument: you may purchase the Rubank Elementary Method book for your instrument (pictured below) prior to your first lesson. Please also bring a spiral notebook or manuscript spiral notebook (pictured above)
-First Lesson, what to bring: Bring any materials you've been working on in band, previous books, solos or sheet music to your first lesson with me. I have copies of all the books pictured below and will bring a couple of them with me based on the students grade and skill level (please be sure to include this information in an email to me prior to the first lesson). I will assess which book(s) for the student to obtain in the first lesson and will write the name(s) in the spiral or manuscript (pictured above) notebook: which should also be brought to the first lesson. Please purchase or order the book(s) as soon as possible. I will only bring a copy with me for another week or two.

Below are images of books that I regularly use in lessons, to aid in ordering them. They can easily be purchased through Amazon, other online vendors such as SheetMusicPlus, or from your local music store such as Music and Arts or Menchey. Please see your child's notebook for the name of the book(s) they will need or feel free to email me for the exact name.
*Please note: You will notice many of the Rubank books look very similar (color variations in pictures don't make a difference, the title does!). Also be sure you are ordering Vol. 1 on the Rubank Advanced and/or Selected Duets books.
